Next Meeting: Monday, May 21st

The next meeting is Monday, May 21st 7 p.m. in the Manteca Library McFall Room.

We are restarting our monthly photo critiques/judging. Bring one or two photos to enter and see how you do against other photographers.  You can also bring digital images on a thumb drive.  The projector will display a resolution of 1024 pixels wide max and 768 pixels high max. Or you can send the digital images to David.

We will collecting photos for the contest and helping those who still have questions with the application.

9th Annual Photography Contest & Show

It's that time of year again. This year Manteca, Tracy, & Stockton Camera Clubs will be hosting our 9th Annual Photography Contest and Show on June 1 & 2, 2013 at the Manteca Senior Center, 295 Cherry Lane, Manteca. You are invited to enter and attend! There is a free public viewing of the photos from Noon - 5:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Cast your vote for the People's Choice Award during the Saturday viewing.

Bubble Workshop
WORKSHOPS
Workshops like the Soap Bubble Workshop will be set up to help you hone your skills during the public viewing.  Bring you camera!  We may possibly set up multiple workshops such as a Veggie/Fruit Splash Workshop or Goblet Splash Workshop.

DIVISIONS
There are now three divisions OPEN, AMATEUR, and CHILDREN (ages 14 and under).

AWARDS (One OR MORE 1st, 2nd, and 3rd per Category)
Best of Show $40
Peoples’ Choice: $25
Amateur Awards:
1st: Adult $25 / Child $20
2nd: Adult $20 / Child $15
3rd: Adult $15 / Child $10

Professional/Open Awards:
1st: $35
2nd: $25
3rd: $15

ENTRY FEES
Open: $10 per entry.
Amateur: $5 per adult entry, $2 per children’s entry

We also accept submissions at the camera club meetings prior to the contest.
